I’ve seen it everywhere –
Women building something extraordinary
from almost nothing ♡.
Floating from one place and work to another? Perhaps. But now it all makes sense.
A childhood in Finland and Vietnam. Then Singapore, Malaysia, Turkey, Sweden — and back again. Countries, cultures, languages, rules that were different everywhere we landed.
Always building things: an ethical business — Werannas — with women artisan communities in Kenya and Nepal. Digital businesses at scale. Teams across borders. And eventually, late at night after the day job was done, the beginning of Queens&Sisters. Every project different. Every country different. And yet, looking back, the same thread running through all of it.

What the thread actually was.
Every role was one where nothing existed yet — or nothing was working — and someone needed to make it work. I am, as it turns out, constitutionally incapable of maintaining something that doesn’t need changing. I am a builder.
And beneath that — underneath all the projects and the P&Ls and the platform migrations — there was something even simpler. Something we saw most clearly in Kenya and Nepal, sitting across from women who were creating something from nothing with extraordinary skill and almost no resources:
When you give a woman the tools,
the connections and the belief
that she can build something —
she builds something extraordinary.
Every time. Without exception. In Helsinki and in Hanoi. In Nairobi and in Kathmandu. The geography changes. The women and their capacity to build do not.
What Queens&Sisters is becoming.
We started with a planner. A beautiful, intentional daily planner for women who refuse average. And that is real and it matters.
But the vision is larger. Queens&Sisters is a community of women who believe that empowerment is not a solo sport. That when one queen rises, she reaches back. That the connections we build across borders and backgrounds and industries matter — not just for us, but for the women who come after us.
The Queens Circle is already growing beyond Europe. Our journal will tell stories of women building businesses in places the business press rarely visits. The planner will carry a purpose beyond its pages.
